Frames are the one purchase where the shape of your face decides everything, and the one where you are usually looking at them on somebody else's. respecced puts them on your own face from one selfie, in about twelve seconds.
Why the shop picture never helps
Frames are photographed on models chosen because the frames suit them. That is not a criticism of the shops, it is simply what a product photograph is for, but it means the picture answers a question you did not ask.
Round frames on a round face and round frames on a long one are two different objects. You can only tell which you are looking at by looking at yourself.
Trying a specific pair
As with trainers and clothes, you can bring a photograph of the exact pair you are considering and see that pair rather than something like it. A shop page, a listing, or a photo taken in the opticians while you are standing there.
Sunglasses too
The same applies, more so, because sunglasses are larger and change a face more. The catalogue includes the usual shapes, and the same "try these from a photo" route works for a particular pair.
